Once Upon a Scale Number
Left, before (300 + lbs). Height 5’5. Right, during, at my lowest weight (179 lbs). I’ve gone off track a bit but seeing how much progress I’ve made since I started fuels the fire for my drive.
I’ve been trying to wait until I reach the 100 lbs lost mark to post any pictures, but after a couple of weeks of plateauing and lots of time at the gym and finally fitting into this black pullover, I couldn’t help it…
The difference between the two pictures is 3 years+9 months, 1 pregnancy, and 94 lbs.
The first picture is a week after i started, when I was 4 lbs down. The second picture is me today, after a total of 98 lbs lost. The first 80 or so were lost within the first year through calorie counting and exercise. After having my son in 2011, I bounced around from 160-170 for two years, always “trying to lose weight.” At the beginning of this year, the scale hit 175 and I saw myself heading back to the 249 lb girl and I was terrified. I got serious about my health again in February of this year (2013) and started Herbalife (which has changed my life and been my saving grace!!!). I’ve lost 21 lbs since then and am healthier than I have ever, EVER been in my life.
Starting weight: 249
Current weight:151
Goal weight: wherever I feel comfortable, happy, healthy, and fitPS I did not become any better at housekeeping over this time period ;)
nevergiveup-283to140 AMAZING progess!!!! She has lose 110 lbs and still going….I can truly say this is an inspiration
If ever you feel like giving up, look at this, and think “If she can, there’s no reason why I can’t either” Look at yourself in the mirror, tell yourself you can do this, chug a bottle of water, then go work out. Keep going! Results will come!
wow, just wow.

Clean Eating Prep Ahead: Eggs in Muffin Tins. Simply spray a muffin pan with olive oil cooking spray ( or wipe down each cup with Olive Oil , crack an egg into the cup, add seasoning ( a dash of hot sauce, salt & pepper, onion powder… ) and a few bits of leftover vegetables. In this case, leftover spinach. If you like, you can use a plastic fork to slightly scramble each egg in the cup.
